Om du passerer eller er i Sandefjord, ta turen oppom Midtåsen for å besøke Midtåsen Skulpturpaviljong og skulpturpark. Seksten av kunsteren Knut Steens verker er samlet i et åpent og inviterende bygg tegnet av arkitekt Svein Lund og landskapsarkitekt Gullik Gulliksen. Tolv marmorskulpturer kan oppleves inne i paviljongen, mens fire skulpturer i bronse er plassert rundt i landskapet. Skulpturparken åpnet sommeren 2009. Den står åpen og ubevoktet mellom kl 10 og 19 hver dag. Paviljongen er et fantastisk eksempel på hvordan kunst kan tilgjengeliggjøres og bevares. Og et eksempel på hva tillit kan gi.
